Would you like a job at Black Forest Drag Queen Betty BBQ?

We, the team around the Freiburg Drag Queen Betty BBQ, are looking for motivated tour guides for our city and pub tours with and without Betty BBQ.

As a guide, you support Betty BBQ in conducting your city tours and events. City tours that are offered without Betty BBQ are your own responsibility.

We are also looking for security personnel (according to § 34a GewO) to provide support during ongoing operations.

 

Who we are looking for:

  • You are curious and cosmopolitan, always in a good mood and like to speak in front of people.
  • You are service-oriented, committed and reliable.
  • You like to work Friday and Saturday (evening hours to full day).

You have a strong interest & knowledge of South Baden and the specialties of the region or would like to acquire them?
You like hiking and being out in the fresh air?

We are organizers of entertainment and culinary city tours in Freiburg.
We are looking for tour guides (m/f/d) for culinary tours to expand our offer.
The tours take place in Freiburg’s old town and on the Schlossberg, with a focus on local specialties, street food, wine & beer and tradition. We combine South Baden joie de vivre, regional wines and beer with Black Forest food culture and the dreamlike scenery of Freiburg.
The tours are usually held from Friday to Sunday during the day and last between 2 and 3 hours. The schedule varies between 1-4 tours per week depending on the season.

As a guide, you will be responsible for conducting the guided tours in Freiburg.

 

Who we are looking for:

Leading a street food tour / wine walk requires a combination of enthusiasm, situational awareness, storytelling, and the ability to connect with diverse people of all ages and from all over the world. You recognize yourself in these skills and characteristics? Then feel free to apply with us!

  • You live in Freiburg or the surrounding area and are mobile.
  • You speak German and English and gladly also Alemannic.
  • You love to entertain guests and show them the city’s specialties, you are cosmopolitan and cheerful-minded
  • You are service-oriented, committed and reliable.
  • You have a passion for food and drink culture
  • You like to work on Fridays and Saturdays during the day and can also imagine working during the day “during the week”.
  • The number of shifts varies from week to week. A certain degree of flexibility is necessary.
  • You are open and motivated to learn and experience
